Course Description

This is an introductory microbiology course designed for students who are unfamiliar with the microbial world. Topics covered in this course include a description and discussion on microbial classification, growth, reproduction, cytology, and physiology. In addition, this course will also address microbial diseases, disinfection and sterilization, along with microbiological techniques use in the laboratory settings, and the applied fields of bacteriology.
